WDS Young Creatives
WDS Young Creatives workshops invite children to become artists, makers and performers as they explore big themes through interdisciplinary practice.
Each programme combines contemporary movement, collaborative art-making, and creative investigation, allowing young artists to develop their own creative voices while building technical skills and artistic confidence.

Through embodied character exploration and interdisciplinary art-making, children aged 5-10 will transform into their favorite spooky creatures - from creeping shadows and gliding ghosts to thundering monsters. They'll craft glowing Halloween lanterns and share their discoveries, dances and artworks in our relaxed mini-showcase that celebrates every wild, wonderful creation!

Up into space!
A journey through the cosmos as young explorers blend science, movement, and visual arts.
Children investigate how astronauts move in zero gravity, create planetary landscapes through collaborative art-making, and choreograph their own space missions.
Through guided exploration, they'll discover how different forces affect movement - from rocket launches to asteroid drifts - while building costumes and sets that bring their cosmic discoveries to life.

Under the Sea
13th - 15th February 2024
Young artists dive deep into ocean worlds through collaborative movement and art-making.
Children embody sea creatures, create underwater landscapes through group choreography, and build immersive installations using mixed media. They explore how jellyfish float differently from sharks, design coral reef environments, and discover their own movement language through guided improvisation.
The workshop culminates in an informal sharing where families experience the underwater world children have created together.

Let your child’s creativity run wild in a programme filled with fun activities, dance and movement. We will be using images, props and music to make and thrive creatively and activities specifically tailored to this age group.
