Young Creatives Summer School

A three-day creative summer intensive combining dance, creativity and performance making.

25–27 August 2026 • 9:30am-3:00pm Ages 5–11 Tramshed, Woolwich

Space to move, create, and grow

  • Spread into two groups, classes in Ballet, Creative Contemporary, Street Dance and Art Making - all under the theme of Superpowers

  • Developing their own choreography and creative ideas under professional guidance

  • Building confidence through creative tasks, developing new skills, and teamwork

  • Making new friends

  • Working towards an informal sharing and exhibition for family and friends
    (at the end of day 3)

Meet your teachers!

Svenja | Dance Artist, Director

Founder of Woolwich Dance Space, dance educator and artist with over 15 years' experience teaching children and young people. An alumna of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Svenja combines expertise in dance education, community arts and performance to create joyful, imaginative and inclusive experiences that nurture confidence, creativity and each child's unique artistic voice. Alongside running Woolwich Dance Space she has extensively performed, toured and collaborates with Undercurrent, Compass Dance, and the Historic Royal Palaces.

Mirabel | Movement Artist, Teacher

Mirabel is a Movement Artist working across Theatre, Film and Television. She is an alumna of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Following her training, she joined Phoenix Dance Theatre as an apprentice, performing in their 40th Anniversary programme, before becoming a company dancer with ACE Dance and Music touring nationally. Some credits include: Bridgerton S4 (Jack Murphy), Counterpoint (Shobana Jeyasingh), Balance (Keneish Dance), Seven Dials (Netflix), Polar Express (Warner Bros)
